Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can take many forms. For some people it shows up as constant tension, racing thoughts, or difficulty sleeping. For others it’s exhaustion, flatness, loss of motivation, or a sense of disconnection from life. Often, both are intertwined — worry and pressure on one side, heaviness and withdrawal on the other.
How therapy can help
You don’t need to “snap out of it” or face it alone. In our work together, you’ll have a space to slow down, feel supported, and begin to make sense of what’s happening for you. Therapy offers:
Relief and regulation — learning ways to reduce overwhelm and manage strong emotions.
Understanding and clarity — exploring the patterns, pressures, and experiences shaping how you feel.
Connection and support — being met with warmth and respect, without judgment.
Pathways forward — developing ways of responding that bring steadiness, meaning, and hope.
My approach
I work in a relational, integrative way — which means I focus on building a safe, supportive relationship where we can explore both the surface struggles and the deeper layers (such as attachment, trauma, or life transitions). Together we’ll look not only at symptoms, but also at what really matters to you.
This might look like
Unpacking stress and anger triggers and what’s behind them
Building practical tools to stay grounded when things get intense
Relearning how to express yourself clearly without shutting down or blowing up
Reclaiming a sense of agency over your mood and reactions
Working with thoughts that keep you stuck in shame or self-doubt
Tuning into needs that haven’t had a voice
Strengthening habits and practices that support resilience over time
Taking the first step
If you’ve been feeling anxious, low, or stuck, reaching out can feel daunting. You don’t have to have the right words or a clear plan — just starting the conversation is enough.
